Watching Games On Yes For Cordcutters?

I'm thinking about cutting off my cable subscription, but I'm worried about losing YES Network. With it being summer, MLS is really the only league I follow, and MLS Live covers most of my soccer viewing. So a $140 cable subscription isn't totally necessary.

Does anyone know if any of the current web TV providers (DishWorld, Sling, etc.) offer access to YES? Thanks!

Not Dish Network and Sling are the only providers that don't have Yes Network

I've been wanting to drop cable for a while, but sports is the the only thing keeping me from doing it. Still no legit way of getting live sports without a cable subscription. YES offers online streaming of the games through the FOX Sports GO app, but only for Cablevision and Time Warner Cable subscribers. It's BS.

I was worried about sports when I was debating whether or not to cut cable, but for games you really care about you can always go to a bar. You end up watching (much) less sports on a net basis, but you also realize just how much of it was background stuff you really didn't care that much about to begin with.

And there's so many streams, all you have to do is a little more work. I stream games on my laptop and connect it to my TV with an hdmi cable.

^ Word. I cut my cable a while ago and it's easily one of the best decisions I've made. I stream all the games I want to watch, which are just the Buffalo Bills and Real Madrid. The rest is handled by a Roku 3, which I pretty much never touch because I don't give a shit about TV. For those times when some TV ambiance is needed, I just have an HDTV antenna.

Check out SlingTV. They've got BeIN and the ESPNs, which is most of my sport viewing. It also includes Univision for the couple games we have on Fridays.

You can easily stream just about anything in HD including Premier League and (for me) the Big Ten Network. Except for YES, which ticks me off.

I think I'll have to find a bar for some of those.

A lot of people have bought MLS Live and paired it with a VPN.

Yeah, the only bummer about that is that I use my Apple TV to access MLS Live. Do you know if you can spoof a location using an Apple TV? Just curious.

Google "Smart DNS" - I found it easier to use than VPN. Basically only your streaming IP changes, but all your other websites stay the same. I have been using Unlocator. They have a 7-day trail and it worked with Apple TV.

Are you guys talking about

Yeah I've been looking at SlingTV. It seems promising and if I pair it with HBO Now, I should be able to cover a lot of the content I want. The NYCFC games are the issue, though. Going to a bar isn't an option, and I'm not interested in looking for illegal streams with tons of porn ads popping up.

If you have an android phone you can watch all sports for free on that

Couldn't you just buy Fox Sports 2 Go if they show games on there?
Or does it require a Yes subscription?

Can I get more info on the porn ads? Asking for a friend

Buy mls live and get tunnelbear unlimited data 4.99 a month Vpn program I have it and it works great I also have cable but I just like to have that extra option

Is that the one you turn off after you start streaming so it doesn't use up data? Then again unlimited is $5 a month so it's prob not that necessary.

Is tunnelbear in lieu of Cablevision / Time Warner / Frontier or in addition to?
