EDIT: also wanted to clarify that if you are eligible at a state run site like Javitz, you are now eligible at pharmacies. This is why I was able to get a pharmacy appointment. The only people not eligible right now are those who are under 60 years old, have no comorbidities, and do not have an eligible profession.

Holy cow! I started trending up early on, saw my blood pressure, a1c and cholesterol enter "yellow" territory around August checkup, completely changed up my diet and dropped 25 lbs. Now I'm at my leanest since my late teens.

Hey all. Call your pharmacy and get on a wait list. They defrost vaccines and when people no-show they need to put needles in arms. Almost all my friends have gotten vaccines without worrying about age or health issues.

Walgreens also seems to have gotten a new shipment of moderna vaccines and has appointments available in the near future at many locations

I'm sure many here have already seen it, but those 30+ can start booking tomorrow at 8am and 16+ on 4/6 at 8am.
Some context. CVS opens appointments for 4 days out every morning it seems. So if you are able to book an appointment tomorrow for this Saturday April 3rd, you will be covid test exempt for stadium entry on April 17th with J&J, May 8th with Pfizer, and May 15th with Moderna, assuming guidelines don't change by then.
Got my second dose yesterday. This morning kind of sucks, but not that bad so far. Unfortunately I had to make the heartbreaking decision to stay home while my wife takes the kids to my in-laws. Now I'm all alone in our quiet house.

Had my second shot yesterday morning. My wife did too. We had very similar experiences. By 9PM the arm soreness was far from unbearable but not easily ignored either. Enough to make it hard to fall asleep. Then it really hit me overnight - chills, then hot, then chills then hot. That passed and now just a general sense of bleargh. Drinking sports drinks helps.
