you don't need the commentary. the soccer is what matters. and even if you don't understand it, it'll still sound better than the garbage fox announcers spew.
Got it working! Fox is way behind in the streaming game their app is super glitchy.
I like our XI. A lot. I kind of expected Reyna to start with the MMA midfield or start for McKennie if Weah got the nod on the wing, but I'm fine with him as a sub for this one.

Great, great first half. I'll admit I didn't have high hopes for this World Cup, but that was brilliant. Gotta finish these last 45 now.
utter domination. the yellows were foolish though. only takes 2 card accumulation to be suspended 1 game.
hopefully they continue the domination the 2nd half and pad that GD some

Why does our national team always do this? Take a lead and turtle. You're dominating the game, and a second goal ends it. Go for the goal, don't invite them back into it.
I can't tell if it's the team, or if it's Gregg. Is it his idea to go more conservative after we go ahead? Or is that just our players who do it? I don't know. But I hate it.
announcers said he said during press conf was they would keep playing and doing what works. so hopefully they were planning to attack and just couldn't handle the pressure from wales.
don't liek the subs though. wright and yedlin has given us nothing. where is gio? give me scally over yedlin.
I think we expected Wales to stay bunkered until the last 20-30 minutes at most, and were caught off guard when they attacked from '46 instead. It took a while to find our rhythm in response, and it happened, but we just weren't expecting to have to be under pressure that long. But we should have won it in the first half when Wales wanted no part of the ball especially in our half.
I agree Reyna's absence is a puzzler, as does apparently everyone at Fox.

yea poor decision. the pressure got to him and he was in panic mode. made a bad choice to tackle and that's that.
if we can play like we did in the 1st half for the full 90 mins vs england, we might even win. but it'll be a good game regardless. i surely don't want them sitting back and soaking pressure like today's 2nd half vs england.. that's for sure. it'll just get ugly.
adams was a beast. sergeant is my pick for our regular #9. he played great. didn't score or even have a chance, but his runs and work ethic were great.
ream was good, but slow. and that hurt us when we weren't pressing well the 2nd half.
someone tell pulisic to get the hell up and stop playing like a damn wimp. falls over for everything and whines. GET UP.

Ref was poor - but we seemed to let that get in our heads. That hurt us more than the calls did. We maybe got a bad deal on yellows compared to Wales, but it's not why we gave up the lead.
yea he was poor. inconsistent and stopped the game for non-head injuries.
still think we need to play stronger and not fall over so easily. maybe it's a personal thing but i hate watching whiny players sitting on the ground asking for fouls.
And especially playing against a team who is known for basically just bunkering and waiting for a late goal from their aging superstar who does nothing except score late. Who would have thought it?

It's my longstanding complaint with our national team. We're not ambitious enough. Leading 1-0, dominating the game -- instead of trying to kill it, we give up the goal then whine about the refs. It's a longstanding issue since before Couva. We just aren't ambitious enough.
OMG. Saudis. Now it’s so fucking important to win our group. It means you probably get Ecuador in rd16 and winner of Mexico/Denmark in quarters.
