Pretty excited about all those upgrades

I have been saying this regularly (since it started floating around BL last week)...Wingert has not been spotted in any training photos or videos and most recently retweeted Joel Olsteen on his Twitter about God having bigger plans and something amazing in his future...

Apparently the guy on the left is Ernest Agyiri a Ghana player.

Not sure why we're bothering with internationals if we have no room. Wouldn't it make more sense to bring in domestic players on trial?

It probably has something to with the Right to Dream Academy because CFG either owns them or has a partnership with them. Ernest Agyiri is a member of Right to Dream.

Aren't the right to dream kids here in the USA? Wasn't Abu Danladi one?

Also - good on CFG for going out and finding these kids and trying to place them here.

Does the Right to Dream have green cards or U.S. citizenship?

They sponsor student athletes in the US but I believe they're all Ghanaian and here on Study terms.

Maybe Vieira is looking at him for Man City (or a USL affiliate?) since we can't have him on the roster, based on international spots, even though we signed an international player on loan, because what rules are there in this league?

Could CFG/EDS have sent a couple of new guys here to train?

Generally the RTD guys signed are good but not ready to step up to the big time - when MCFC signs its contingent (they always pluck the 4-5 best "graduates" each year) then they generally end up at Scandinavian clubs on loan for a few years. Partly it can be about getting EU nationality to avoid work permit rules but partly that is just their level at the time.

I can't see any of these players being ready for MLS straight out of the academy. A USL loan seems more likely.

We have until the beginning of the season to clear another intl spot, per league rules that is when the roster "locks" and the rules apply. Actually fairly normal, happens in hockey a similar way with their rules.
