I looked at the 2021-22 leaked Adidas kits for EPL and La Liga so far on the usual websites but couldn’t really discern any trends, even whether the three stripes are likely to be on the shoulder or sides

My guess is no. Someone might grow into that by 2022, but I doubt someone comes in with enough heft to outpace those three.

Yea MLS is adidas all the way, so we aren't touching anything by other brands.

I think if we want an idea of how 2021 home kit will look, we need only look back in time about 10-12 years and see what was popular then. That seems like the trend these days right? bringing back retro templates and making it seem like something new?
