DCU sits 9 points ahead of us with both teams having 17 matches (51 pts) to play. This is our last match against them this season and a potential 6 point swing. If we have any belief in this team turning it around it has to start tomorrow.

I didn't look it up till just now but D.C. has fallen all the way to 14th for home-adjusted xGD per game at -0.07, just two slots above NYCFC. Doesn't make it any easier to overcome MLS road game hoodoo but they're maybe not as scary as their spot on the table would suggest.

And yet they’ve scored 7 goals at home, having only given up 4 (all in one match to LAFC), and they have three shutouts. One match was without Rooney. Those are real stats that have led to 7 pts in 4 matches.

NYCFC has only scored 7 goals all season, 1.16/game. 5 of those goals were scored on the road, while the team has given up 9 goals away (2,4,3).

These stats speak a lot louder than the hoodoo xG.

Very hard to get a read on them with their home schedule so far.
They beat Atlanta and RSL combined 7-0, and without looking it up I presume the xGD is similar but neither is an impressive opponent. Then they imploded against LAFC and drew Montreal but without Rooney. So, I'm not sure that adds up to anything.

I was wondering if NYCFC_Dan NYCFC_Dan had statistics on website visitors and impressions on here over the last year. Dome can’t be good for business
Pretty sure I did a comparison post in the supported discussion thread. I think it’s called ‘analytics something something’ At work and don’t have the time to dig.
But you’re right, visitors have been in a downward spiral since the second season.

So Dome is now set for a second match with a 532 formation after stocking the roster with endless wings. Makes perfect sense.

Game is soon and there's barely any discussion. No one is excite. Yikes.

It's beautiful weather in the city. It's Easter. It's Passover. And it's Sunday Funday better than a Monday, can only do it one way, and that is the drunk way!

Why bother watching NYCFC not get three points?

So many better ways to spend your afternoon.
