YES

NYCFC faces off against Columbus, which is now one of two teams in Ohio.

You know what that means.

It will be interesting to see what comes out of the Chicago stutter on the 3-4-3, and whether Dome decides to put out another ironic and or slightly inexplicable lineup.

Every other time in recent memory that I felt like this about a game, we played to a goalless draw, so I'm hoping to be surprised.

I'm quite worried still about how few goals we're scoring. 16 goals in 12 games just isn't good enough.
I've been thinking the same. I also see reason for cautious optimism. First, we scored 4 goals in the first 5 games. Since then, starting with Minnesota, it's been 12 in 7 games, of which 5 were road games. The Minnesota game is pretty much the hinge for a lot of things in the NYCFC season. NYC was shutout 3 times in the first 5 games, and nonce since. Also, goals are down league-wide. Individual teams are averaging a bit over 1.4 GpG. NYC is below that for the season at 1.33, but hitting 1.71 starting with Minnesota. On the other hand, the team scored just 1 goal in 3 of the last 5 games, and it's extra disappointing that even after things improved we only scored 1 in each of the 2 home games in that stretch. And no matter what happens in Columbus I won't really be optimistic about the season until and if we start scoring more and regularly winning at Yankee Stadium. 7-10 points in 4 straight Away games is very good to exceptional, but you have to stockpile points at Home.

7 points from a 4 game away trip is great and 10 points is lights out. If this team was lights out at home I’d be a lot more optimistic, but NYCFC is finishing a stretch of 6 out of 8 on the road. Scoring also is usually up at home vs the road.

If they get a result at Columbus and then get 10-12 points out of the next four home games, they should be close to the top of the conference.

Good find, thanks. I was hoping I could find it in the condensed game, but there doesn't seem to be one.

when are the final rosters to be completed for the gold cup? are we losing johnson for a week or so before the gold cup? mata is most likely gone for a while. ofori still not sure.

Chanot is up for a reduction, which is great, because he's been on caution for the last 4 matches.

Mata got a reduction last match. And Ofori is up for a possible reduction this match.

Also, Tin is up for a reduction too (noticed by LionNYC LionNYC)

Could you add DNP to this tracker, because I see five games with Ben Sweat without a yellow card box but no reduction (means he didn't play in all those games)? And green for every match a player serves without a yellow? This would be easier to see every week rather than track week to week as the light green are active games without a yellow card, approaching five for a reduction.

I usually wait till there are 4 matches with no card to add the green. And leave the DNP matches blank. (See what I did with Callens). Red is my suspension color. If i go green/red for every player, every match it’s going to look very messy (and a lot like Christmas!).

Wait, but some players played in matches but they aren't light green? A yellow is a reset of the light greens. Maybe I'm just missing something.

I only add the light green when they are close to a reduction. And i remove it if they don’t get the reduction, like i did for chanot after the yellow from the first Chicago match.

So yes. Some players played in matches and do not have light green boxes. And if they get a yellow i remove the light green. If they get a reduction, i leave the light green, so you can see how they earned it. The yellows will also show how they earned a suspension.

Isn't Tinnerholm due for a reduction vs. Columbus if he's clean?
