I'm not sure it's a given that we use it this year.

Not exactly. The quality of the players around the DPs should get better and better with the additional GAM.

I guess perhaps the other cash received for the sale that doesn't turn into GAM would make us more likely to use on transfer fees for higher quality DPs though.

Oh, I figured that the usage of GAM you are prescribing was a given. I was thinking more about how higher quality younger players may be more likely to join us if we build a reputation for increasing young player value and marketability to Europe and higher-levels of soccer in general.

If you trust your scouting department, there is no problem with this strategy.

The last few kids CFG have purchased were Yangel Herrera, Patrick Roberts, Keleni Iheanacho and Leroy Sane.
