I'm pretty sure this was a 330 kickoff until just recently. Or did I miss that?

It was changed maybe a few weeks ago for Unimas. There was an announcement.

Just noted this on another thread, but think it's worth posting here.

We are starting an odd finish to the season where we alternate between extended periods off and stretches with games on short rest.

• 1o days off (right now)
• 3 games in 8 days
• 13 days off
• 3 games in 8 days
• 21 days off
• games on the last 2 Sundays

I don't like having 2 stretches with 3 games in 8 days, but otherwise, I think this is a big plus for us.

First of all, we get 3 weeks off for players to heal and rest before the playoffs; plus, we will get 2 games before the playoffs start to shake off the rust.

Second, if we need a player to get an extended rest before then, we have the chance to do it now or in our next break.

3 weeks is an awful long time to fall out of game-shape. Players will not have the right intensity or timing after long layoffs. We’re really fcked with getting into a rhythm.
