Every fall now, my allegiance towards NYCFC and the Yankees become a problem.

I think what was originally thought of as synergy between franchises has caused loyalty rifts between dual yankee/NYCFC fans and also dual NYCFC/Man City fans as well.
I don’t think I have it in me to root against the Yankees, but losing our home field advantage for a dispositive playoff game would be so awful on so many levels.Yup.
Yankees and Yankee Stadium (for a temporary stadium) were some of the reasons why I got season tickets for NYCFC.
Now the Yankees going deep into the playoffs causes me to question my ranking of fandom. I want the Yankees to win, but I also want NYCFC to have the best home advantage for playoff games. I think I rooted for the Astors to sweep the Yankees in the ALCS so we would get our games at home.
And I became an Man City fan because I didn't have a European club, but the Lampardgate and some other things is making me don't like Man City and CFG.
They should just bake at least 3-4 games at Citi into the regular season schedule next year and plan to have all of the playoffs there for simplicity's sake. They won't, of course, because games at Citi mean no Legends, Pitchside and Champions, so it would be a decent $$$ hit.
Before this season we were all hoping for a 3-5 match Citi package. It would also allow much more flexibility in our scheduling.

This year I think there's even a chance that both the decision day game and the knock-out game get moved together as soon as the Yankees win the ALDS, should that happen.
Well, to be honest I don't need any of that to start planning for Shake Shack.100% correct. Start planning for Shake Shack as soon as the champagne pops for the ALDS win.
Champagne and Shake Shack. Sounds like a great pairing!
Bring a (plastic, to not set off metal detectors) flask of rum. Pour into your frozen custard of choice. Game over.
Question on the MLS playoff schedule... why the hell do they always make the semifinal legs conflict with the nfl? Wouldn’t they make more money if they had the legs on Saturday instead? Or at least split them up? I feel like they’ll lose a significant part of viewership just because the games are all on an nfl Sunday instead of a college football Saturday.
I assume that’s because there is more unused tv network time on Saturdays.Question on the MLS playoff schedule... why the hell do they always make the semifinal legs conflict with the nfl? As someone who can't attend Saturday games (Unless they're all like 8 at night) I'm perfectly happy with them being Sunday nights. MLS Final, if it was held in YS, would be fine because in December I'd be able to make a game that starts even at 7/7:30.
LOL.MLS Cup on a Saturday in NYC? I think I could rationalize the Subways run on their own without me doing anything like a Shabbos elevator. We play it away, I book a hotel nearby and introduce everyone to kiddish club at 10:30am.
Chabad of South Bronx is a mile and a half away.As someone who can't attend Saturday games (Unless they're all like 8 at night) I'm perfectly happy with them being Sunday nights. MLS Final, if it was held in YS, would be fine because in December I'd be able to make a game that starts even at 7/7:30.
