You're right, I'd keep him too. I didn't think about un-striking.

Stuver showed us nothing in his opportunities. Caldwell is at least young and can develop. Then get another young Keeper and take a chance with him too. It's a numbers game as long as we have a #1 who can start almost every match.

Rawls apparently had an excellent season in USL even making to conference final where they lost to drogba and co. maybe they bring him back as backup.

I saw enough of Stuver to have awful flashbacks of Josh Saunders.

NYCFC has two young keepers, let them develop if they are going to play a couple of games.

MLS Digital just takes articles from Reddit/Twitter about 2-3 days after they are posted there. I don't have any website aggregators, I just take them from the people who find those weird South American/European media websites.

If it's true we're looking at him I'd imagine it's at CB, especially if Chanot leaves. But I love the idea of a converted midfielder there. Imagine having two center backs with Callens' ball skills.

For Quevedo i do recall seeing the name in summer time as well, so they been trying to get him for a while now.

Orlando just made their announcement. Both Bendik and Spector are out. Kind of surprised. Bendik had apparently fallen out of favor, but he was pretty well regarded around the league and not expensive ($190K). You have to think they could have gotten something for trading him.

Meanwhile, Spector has been hurt a lot this year and is 32 and was making just over $600,000. However, he was good when he was playing, and they have other, less effective and more expensive players on the back line.

By my reckoning, neither will be free agents, so its possible that Orlando could still get something for them.

ETA: Orlando also let the contract of Earl Edwards expire. He's the guy who replaced Bendik as a starter. So, either they've got some other plan for a goalie, or it's the Clown Show down there.
