Yeah, I'm not seeing any navy or orange at all on the kit.

Yup looks to be the exact leak we've seen already, which means the replica & authentic will be virtually the same. This is pretty surprising considering the other releases thus far have all had minimal trim changes from replica to authentic. Interesting.

Like i said, it looks like there is trim at the bottom of the blurred preview here - so that's different from the replica we see previewed

Is the forum an echo chamber for wanting orange? Or is it a fanbase-wide thing? I always wonder this.

i think for a HOME jersey, it should represent the city and our flag is blue, orange, and white. it already sort of irks me that our blue is sky blue instead of the darker blue in the flag but that is due to our ownership and the "city" theme. but orange is what gave us an identity within a sea of CFG teams. if you want to rep NYC, you should do it. this isn't manchester england.. it NEW YORK EFFIN CITY.

also - cooligans have an unboxing stream tomorrow @ noon on the club's youtube channel

I think the inclusion of orange on the home kits have been nice touches, but I'd rather they do more with it on their away kits instead. Keep the home kit simple and focus on sky blue.

In other news the authentic leaked a few days ago. No orange but I'm glad since this kit is so clean. I love the monogram logo stitched into the stripes

How do they expect to sell many jerseys when they can't get the jerseys right? We haven't yet had a single jersey that screams "damn, now THAT is a nice kit" - Next year's away kit they really have a chance to do something awesome with orange. And I hope they do it. ffs.

Good point. A killer jersey could actually broaden the brand especially if a cultural icon sported one. The jersey is not bad it’s just meh. The repeated logo on the stripes is silly and the collar is approaching a ruff.

I very much like the outgoing Primary kit with the single racing stripe, and have generally been happy, though not super excited, over the away kits. But I'm generally fond of simple clean kits with subtle or limited details. I would probably quite like the club's basic primary template if it were actually designed to rep the club and not a team in another country as avatar for a world-wide conglomerate.

I agree. I think I've mostly been content, or happy, with the various kits. The racing stripe kit was nice, but it wasn't like DAMN that's awesome. Again, going to bring that Cincinnati example. THAT is an amazing kit. That's a kit that screams "holy shit I NEED that" - This kit would have been a lot nicer if instead of the white striped it was dark blue or orange.

i mean technically, there was a team called the skyliners who played in old yankee stadium in 1967. even though the team itself was just cerro from uruguay who wore the sky blue and white and they were stripped jerseys.

vancouver white caps did exist in the 70's though so they have stuff to pull from. even thought i thought it looked exactly like the 2019 jersey at first ( there are slight differences)

I don't hate it ... the monogram is a little weird, but I like the striping and I like that those small details can only be seen if you're looking closely. But when you're watching on TV, you're probably not going to notice the little details. It's nothing special, but it's fine.
