2025 Roster and Transfer Discussion Thread

Post this for the masses. This is gold.
I'm not much for engaging with the internet at large—I’d much rather have conversations with all of you fine folks here on the forums than dive into Reddit or the broader online chaos. That said, the photo edit I posted was a quick and lazy one. If anyone wants to take it and share it elsewhere, feel free.
What I would love is for a reporter to ask Sims or Lee something like this:
"At the end of the disappointing 2023 season, you told fans you were committed to putting this club in a position to compete for trophies at every opportunity, and you emphasized that your commitment had never been stronger. Given the current state of the roster heading into the U.S. Open Cup, Leagues Cup, and MLS season, do you feel you've delivered on that promise to the fans?"
the answer you'd get would be "yes. as I mentioned in a prior interview and as david lee has reiterated, the current roster can compete with anybody in the league. we finished in the quarter finals of the playoffs last year and were unfortunately eliminated. but it shows our commitment to fielding a strong roster that can succeed. "
not missing the playoffs yet again kind of went against us in terms of holding Lee accountable.

Wouldn’t mind it. Some depth at CDM would be nice, and bonus points for a ‘roos player. Def not a priority like a 10 but a Sands-ish type would help.

No comment on poster seems to really like him. He’s also a defensive midfielder that’s value has kept rising on TransfrMarkt with just 2 appearances this season.

Would signal a full Haak to CB transition to me
