It won't be hard for the SGs to be loud if NYCFC gets the first goal and is bossing the midfield. Last game the RB fans went quiet pretty quickly when it was obvious the ref was calling a tight/fair game and FC easily had the better of the play. RB has Fair Weather Cheering that piles on when their team has momentum and fades to nothing when the chips are down.Hyped for this game. Looking forward to (hopefully) another 3 points and an ugly goal or 3 by Lamps. Also, third rail and most of the stadium need to be loud AF to get that atmosphere going again. I know I'll be shouting the whole time

Exactly, if it was the latest game, sure. If it was the next season, or the game was held on the same date a year or two later, go for it.
And I know we don't have a ton of room to talk smack as they still own the series against us 1-4, but this just seems like a stretch.

We each got three points this year. Yes the goal differential can still mean something (highly unlikely since number of wins is first tiebreaker).
I've recently taken this up and decided to be a bit of an asshole to some baseball fans that were talking about this pitcher or that pitcher throwing a perfect game. I would always follow up with "That counts as one win, right?"
