Pizzaro isn't bad at all - did us a half-decent stint. However, I personally wouldn't sign him now, so not so much "he got away" as "NYCFC escaped"

Great playmaker in his day, but I never was a fan of his attitude. A lot of Roma fans believe he was faking injuries when Claudio Ranieri was the coach because he didn't like him. As soon as Ranieri resigned Pizarro was magically healed and had no injury problems for the rest of the season.

He still is a good player but he definitely is not aging well.
