From Captain to Captain, so it's gotta be Ring right? (He's obviously gonna be our captain.)
Maybe the kitman should have a say in who squirts him. Maybe the kitman should choose the captain.
If I ever coach kids who are learning to play soccer again, I would be a better coach after watching Villa. That movement. The defense he plays as an attacking forward. And, of course, the finishing.
For 4 years if you watched NYCFC and just focused on Villa you were guaranteed to watch some worthwhile soccer every game regardless of the teams or the other 21 players on the field.

I was going to say Chanot would be the captain, but he's gone now. So I would guess its Ring. Possibility of Maxi, but I'm guessing Ring takes it.
If I was to give an order of captaincy (if one or the other is not playing at the moment), I would probably go:
- Ring
- Maxi
- Johnson
This is Ring's team now. The ringleader era begins.

We could do the main theme, and then insert some clever lyrics about players after a cycle, like "main theme"-> chant about maxi -> main theme -> chant about ring -> main theme, you get the point.
If we do this I'm totally moving to the supporter section next season for games.
