It has been a fantastic feeling playing for #nycfc, it was a shame to can not say goodbye playing in front of our fans. Thanks!! next season, next challenges.... Ha sido una pena no poder despedirme de nuestra afición jugando, pero ha sido una temporada en la que las cosas positivas siempre han superado a las negativas.Gracias!!! La temporada que viene, nuevos desafíos, veremos cuál es la próxima parada.... #nycfc
And another international spot opens up. So I guess the question remains of whether he heads back to Spain to play, or he becomes part of Villa's official entourage as a Turtle-type guy?
From Alvarez's official twitter. No official word from the FO yet though.

Agreed, but it's interesting regarding the timing of his tweet (did he wait until yesterday or did he find out yesterday?). Was Reyna the one to cut the cord, or is there a new manager in place and he's wasting no time purging before the team meets back up tomorrow(?) for the restart of training?LOL. It was a nice gesture to sign him to help Villa's transition but now it's time to use those precious spots efficiently.
It's slow computational skills like that which make it difficult to any field player above U-8 level to be able to put a stamp on a game.Given his level of involvement during the latter part of the season, I think he just now realized it ended.
Thanks for the reminder of my own prescience, Tom in Fairfield CTCan't wait for the coach version of this thread.
