In fairness Germany actually looked like a dominant team multiple times this tournament. The U.S. Has consistently looked like the team that rose up to just a high enough level to win that particular game.

Hard to know what to even say after that awesome win. There has been a lot to criticize about the USWNT during the tournament, even a little bit in this match after the goalstorm settled down, but the fact is that the US is the deserved champion.
