Would you be happier with some of the past it championship players that some of the other teams are bringing in then ?
The list is growing by the day of bang average to crap players the mls is importing from the UK.

Yeah, I'd take an old Championship player that will terminate his contract with his old team immediately to come help us rather than play a month worth of meaningless games after sitting the bench most of the season.

We better hope Lampard dominates MLS a little more than Villa has, too.

You mean terminate his contract for more money. Because that's exactly the kind of character you want on your team.
Our roster clearly shows that just because you have some youth/experience does not mean you'll win games.
No one on our roster can command the mid field. If Frank brings us that even for 75 minutes a game I'll take it. Besides when Poku comes in most of our midfielders play the ball either side to side or backwards.
And I've mentioned countless times that our guys are horrendous moving off the ball. Something Lampard is VERY good at. He knows how to get into space and sees things developing.
Also as much as it does suck his contract was extended you really can't bitch about him not playing much. That just means when we finally do get him he won't be exhausted from a full season. We'll have a player that actually might be rested enough to go a full 90 for us.
With the amount of possession we hold it limits his need to track back and chase so it should help him there.

As stated its not about £1.5m its probably closer to £5m
In Europe we have ffpr which means we have to meet certain financial targets each season ,ie. aim to loose no more than a set amount failure to comply gets you fined and squad restrictions or kicked out of the champions league.it makes no difference if your owners are the richest In the world or penniless. You can only spend what you earn ,so £5million + is critical
Paying the most wages dosnt guarantee titles ask the highest wage payers man utd.
Lampard has been in the first team squad all season and has played his part in what looks like us coming second
You started by saying you would be happy to. Be signing shit players instead of waiting for quality players.

I have no idea what Franks going to do once he finally condescends to play for NYC. But yes I would love to have Championship players like BWP or even Mike Grella. These guys contribute on a winning team. NYCFC needs more of that.
