Frank Lampard Thread

Wait a minute....

Is that a Mickey Mouse outline on her shirt? Purple phone? That sassy look on her face in the first picture says "Orlando City fan."

Smile in the second picture says she has a crush on Mix.

Metro: Was re-signing Frank Lampard worth it for Manchester City?
But since the announcement was made on the eve of 2015 that Lampard would extend his stay, City have had 10 games in the Premier League and Champions League. Lampard has featured in seven but for a total of just 96 minutes (20, 8, 27, 13, 10, 7 and 11), even with Toure away and injuries afflicting the midfield.

Bitter and blue: Was Keeping Frank Lampard From NYCFC Worth It For City?
With Yaya Toure missing significant time this year for the African Cup of Nations, it was expected that Lampard's extended stay would be used to fill that place. Instead, Lampard saw most of his action as a late substitute, where he was not effective enough to fix City's poor play during that time. After City pillaged their sister club to keep him around, garnering some negative press in the process, it feels like that was all for naught and that City would have been better served to let Lampard go.

I, for one, am happy to see it only took them 3 months to start catching on...

At this point he should come over.

I am no longer concerned about him not having a break. He hasn't played enough to accumulate wear and tear.
I believe it is a requirement. Similar with Gerrard. They should both appear the same week.

MLS would get a full chub if Gerrard and Lampard debut (and both start) at NYC FC vs. LA on national television. Hell, I'd fly out to LA to see the game.

Sunday, August 23 -- a little late for both their debuts? If it is not their first game, it should still be good.

I'm sorry to disappoint you mate but people are going to be very disappointed with both Gerrard and lampard both have been fantastic players Gerrard s legs have gone and he's been causing Liverpool problems by still being at the club.they havnt known what to do with him luckily he picked up an injury and Liverpool have gone on a good run without him,he will only get his place back in sentiment not current form.
Lampard for me has just been a major disappointment for me and I have no idea why city have held onto him and caused all this shit storm.both players will thrive in the slower paced games and both players dead ball and passing range are still superb but playing against any athletic team both players are going to disappoint as they havnt the legs to compete.

Like I've said. Fuck MCFC, fuck CFG and fuck Lampard. This makes you wonder why they went through all this. Was it a way for MCFC to show us who's boss? Was it the incompetence of CFG? Was it Pelligrini just being a scumbag? Or was it Lampard not really being dedicated and invested in our cause?

Either way, I'll never trust any of them again. I can't wait for Barca to give MCFC a nice ass-kicking next week. Fuerza Blaugrana!!!

Rumor from NYCFC exec office... if Man City gets the boot in Champions League, Frank may come back early. He's dying to come to NY. He's not happy playing 5 minutes a game at Man City.

Not sure contractually what he can or carnt do ,but with city pretty much certainly going out of the champions league on Wednesday and in reality one more deafet away from conceding the league ,it would make sense for him to go to NY now.however if Chelsea react badly to last nights defeat and city start to reel them in I suspect he will stay put until the end of the season.it seems a strong rumour over here that Xavi will be your next DP

He's dying to come??? Give me a break.

You prefer 'excited' rather than 'dying'? The guy is a gamer, he's won all the club titles, I'd want to see playing time too instead of bench (even tho those premier league racing seats do look comfy).
