Game Of Thrones (spoilers)

I have been waiting YEARS for Bran to warg into a dragon. I thought that was going to be the whole point of his arc since they’ve been telegraphing it forever.

I still think it will happen. Dany or Jon die. Bran wargs into their dragon and torches Kings Landing.

IDK, I feel like it's not the 3 Eyed Raven's place to interfere in the battles of men. I understand how he had to be involved in the fight vs the NK. Now he should really be nothing more than an observer of history. Why he said he can't be the Lord of Winterfell.

These inaccuracies don't really bother me hardly at all. I don't mind as much when medieval fantasy gets reality wrong as I do when the characters forget everything they know about what makes their world special.
The main point is that they should have had their forces behind the trench, which makes all the sense in the world.

Along the lines of historical inaccuracy - unfortunately ever since I saw this I can't not think of this video when I see fire arrows on screen. Doesn't really break the fantasy for me much but its kick off my know-it-all genes into overdrive.

In what way did they telegraph that? I've never picked up on it. Given that he's not a Targaryen, I'm not sure what the narrative origins of that would be.

Side note.... the NK isn’t a Targaryen (as he was created long before that House migrated to Westeros), but he rode a dragon like a champ. He could have been from another Valerian House that traveled west on a family vacation long before, but that’s not been told if true.

This doesn’t mean I thought Bran would warg a dragon....

Did anybody notice the same thing that killed the Night King was also what killed Ned Stark. Honor. If it weren’t for the Night King choosing to fight Theon himself out of respect he wouldn’t be dead.

Thought I was a decent ep. I'm pretty annoyed though there are leaks and I'had the end of tonight's episode spoiled for me this afternoon on another forum by someone who didn't use spoiler tags I guess because the info was from a leak and not 100 percent confirmed but it did prove accurate. I avoided spoilers for Endgame like the plague till I could get to the theater. It should be safe to browse the net and forums about a show when your caught up with what 's actually been aired . Haven't read anything passed tonight's ep but now afraid I'm going to have the series ending spoiled before it airs.

I just don't look up anything GoT related except for recaps, and it seems to have been fine for me so far

I liked it. It moved things forward with lots of good character moments. I half expected an ambush but not to come with another scorpion bolt kill. I do have multiple issues with those weapons and how they work but so be it.

I thought they might do more to torture Missandei and Grey Worm with her being a captive in chains but it also was clear she was dead as soon as she appeared on that platform.

Finally, no leaks, no knowledge, nothing but my guess and judgment but FWIW I think Jaime's going to be Queenslayer.

How easy it is to take out a dragon kind of bothers me a bit with how hyped up the dragons were in the first place. Yes we've established this Scorpion thing last season but still.

Seeing some people hating on Sansa but I don't really have a problem with her actions. I've like Dani at times but I think she's way too concerned with having power and her reaction to Varys and Tyrion's advice has me thinking she's not wrong not to trust her. Light years better than Cersi doesn't mean good.

They’re tearing Danni down to justify her not ending up on the throne. That’s the only thing I could think of. I think she destroys Kings Landing and sees herself as the mad queen and abdicates the throne to Jon.
I’ll be disappointed if it’s not her or Jon on it.
Clegane is going to kill Gregor but I’m not sure about Arya. I don’t see it being so simple as her killing Cersei.

As for future spoilers I think everyone here is in agreement that it’s a big no.

Also, for the love of the old gods Dany, just circle around, fly behind those ships and scorch them. They are hulking, massed in a narrow strait, and they can't shoot through their own sails.

Danny is a targ. They don’t worship the old gods.

Agreed.

What annoyed me about that exchange/ambush was that:

1. If it took Dany time to see the ships while flying forward, then they were out of view, and if previously out of view how could the scorpion bolts have an angle of attack?
2. How were the gunners so damn accurate from different anchored ships, against a flying target, at range, with air resistance?
3. How the Fck did they reload so fast?
4. These are scorpions, not 5inch guns, so how could they aim horizontally across the water and hit the Targaryen ships broadside so perfectly. Again, distance, moving targets, air resistance, gravity- would have to add angle/elevation to the shot. Even the modern navy had to take those variables in to account when firing, and these are medieval sailors - it’s TV and fantasy, but a little bit of physics is still in play.
