Yeah, definitely. I almost picked Nani for the same reason as you hahCan't argue, it was a 51-49 contest for me.

Gudi's FK was incredible. He's very capable of that. But he really didn't have that great of a game aside from that.We had 3 players make team of the week.
Johnson and medina in starting xi and gudi made the bench.

His biggest issue I think, is he's a slow decision maker. He can make good passes and send in nice crosses, but he seems to wait until he absolutely sees the run, and by that point, it's often a bit late as a defender has closed the gap.
Need him to take more risks with passes in the final third. It's ok if we turn it over there even 50% of the time if we're taking some risks and those that we complete get us into more dangerous areas. Just don't be as risky in the middle and definitely not back 3rd.
I think he would do better as a winger than a defender tbh. Didn't someone mention he started as a winger once too?what you've basically said is Gudi is good for free kicks and vs lazy defenders in the final 3rd. the problem is, he's a LB and his #1 job is to defend, which he just isn't very good at because he's so slow, which is even more pronounced when he's struggling to get back after joining the attack. Can't expect him to be an all round monster like tinny, but I expect him to do his #1 job well, which he doesn't and his attacking games isn't good enough to offset where he's lacking.
he had a good game against cinci.. but cinci didn't exactly attack us or pressure us, so i guess that falls into the 2nd part of what Gudi is good for.
Gudi is kind of like Rocha but pale and with a foot.what you've basically said is Gudi is good for free kicks and vs lazy defenders in the final 3rd. the problem is, he's a LB and his #1 job is to defend, which he just isn't very good at because he's so slow, which is even more pronounced when he's struggling to get back after joining the attack. Me thinks you are right.i actually think rocha is better in the midfield than gudi is when he has played there. rocha has better movement and is faster with his passing.
Yeah. Could be Heber has a social media teamwhoa even heber liked it. is that his actual account?
OMG thank you for this so much. I've been going nuts about them taking this away and started using WhoScored instead, which is ok, but they don't provide directions in the passing charts.More complaints about the MLS website.
1. I found the interactive chart of passes, crosses, defensive actions etc. It's on this page
You have to click on the Players (not Clubs) view and scroll down below the boxscore under the heading "Chalkboard." But, I sometimes cannot see it at all if my ad-blocker is on. Other times I can. Weird, and annoying.PHIvsNYC 05-01-2021 | MLSsoccer.com

Oh they did. I hadn't even gotten that deep into it yet. I was pretty excited just to find it.OMG thank you for this so much. I've been going nuts about them taking this away and started using WhoScored instead, which is ok, but they don't provide directions in the passing charts.
ETA: They still got rid of the minutes filters, which is annoying.
The guy writing the Power Rankings copy this year is really good. He also follows up on this joke in the NYCFC blurb. But I confess I don't get this joke. I guess it's something self-deprecating but I can't figure out the specific hook. I like the Seattle blurb too.
Pretty certain it's because they all think we're supposed to be shit this season? Maybe I'm wrong idkThe guy writing the Power Rankings copy this year is really good. ETA: The whole thing is gold.
