General MLS Discussion

I don't think so. While there isn't as many Inters as Real, there are still quite a few.

Apparently the dispute isn't over the name Inter Miami, but rather Inter Milan not wanting Inter Miami to market themselves as simply Inter.

They are referred to as Inter while AC is called Milan. They have the name "Inter" trademarked as a brand. Name is allowed in conjunction with though. I'm guessing Miami did something with the name to spark this. I'd be ok if MLS teams only used their anchor city plus FC.

for those curious, interesting history with the name Inter. AC Milan was founded in 1899 and there was a debate within the club on whether to sign foreign players or not. AC Milan wanted an all Italian team. So one of the guys left and started Inter in 1908 With the name referring to being an international team.

Just to prove that whatever's going on with your team, Cincinnati will always a find a way to have a worse season....now their manager has been suspended two weeks before the start of the season for allegedly using the n-word.

Lot to unpack there, and probably safer if I pass on the speculation.

For all of our gripes about a lack of transparency at CFG, there is still zero mention of this on any official FCC website or social account, and the story's been out for hours (including a statement from the team!) There's being bad at transparency, and then there's whatever that is.

Agree, and that’s true for me and most of our fans. I’ve never been to a game at Red Bull Arena, but I am a Founding Member of NYCFC.
Most important piece of info to take with you into RBA for a well-attended match (RB vs NYCFC or a MNT), is to hit the bathroom at non-standard times or run the risk of missing huge portions of the match. Worst setup of bathroom facilities.

Granted with the probable crowds, tomorrow night should be easy-peezy.

Is this what will be played when players come onto the field? Hans Zimmer is one of my favorite composers and I love this composition, but I am not sure if it fits. The piece is epic sounding, but its pulse suits high action highlight reels, not for a procession.

apparently yes.....its great for TV spots, stuff like that. its not great to walk out too......i think they rather keep the old one for that.
