Because they are incompetent. His coverage doesn't directly lead to income so it's clearly unimportant to them.

This league is going to completely screw up what it hopes will be a World Cup bounce because of how incompetent they are.

that's a damn shame. he's literally the only MLS writer with personality and actually knows about every team and their players, while giving non-generic takes and analyses on how they are performing.
