Personally I think Curtain is wildly overrated and isn't on the level of any of those other guys. The moment he left everyone predicted a Union downfall yet they turned around and won the shield with an arguably weaker roster than the one Curtin had the season before. The success of the Curtin years had a lot more to due with high quality player acquisition by the front office and the strength of their academy. In fact I think you could argue that a number of the Philly Curtain teams under achieved compared to the quality of their roster specifically due to his Cushing like tendency to go more and more defensive the bigger the stakes.
Clever goal by Choupo-Moting though. That wasn't easy.
