Let's face it, not a home game.
Kickoff at 3pm next Saturday.
Broadcast on UniMas, WFAN (Online) and WQBU

To make it even more of a kick in the face it's broadcast on UniMas and even the radio feed is online only.

Houston have been shut out in their past two games. And they lost to the same Rapids team we just tied, in Houston. But they have also now fallen below the red line in the West, so they should come out fighting.

They are a strong counterattacking team, having scored 5 goals off the counter, which is the most in MLS. So I really hope Ring is back for this one, because Pirlo and TMac vs the counter is not going to go well.

Also, Villa has a week to shake off the rust, cause we really need to be scoring more then 1 goal in a game.

Fun fact: Villa has scored all our goals against Houston

If someone had told me in that moment in that bar with that close up watching that game hit with lightning bolt that changed my Rock n Roll life in a way I never was rocked before that this man I feel instantly for i would be see in 12 years from that point in my neighborhood 2 blocks from me playing his last games I would have said WTF ??

Folks let me PLEASE put the Proper Perspective on this game !! This is the only TRUE CRAZY THING about this Game and how life works !

Not a home game? Maybe not but to classify it as an away game is a little silly. If you want to label as neutral that's probably more fair. Away connotes the match being played in the other teams territory with a realistic expectation that you will be outnumbered in the stands. While I expect the total attendance to be depressingly low for this I'd bet a significant sum we will not be outnumbered by Dynamo fans.

I was trolling.

So who is planning on going? Does anyone want to attempt to meet up for some form of tailgate ? Where are people sitting ? Planning on grabbing my ticket in the next day or two. At Yankee Stadium I prefer behind the goals but if there's any group of us going and sitting relatively near I'm open to suggestion.

I'm going to be a game-day decision but I am really looking forward to going if I can. Who's in for a tailgate? Where will TR be (pre-game.)

Y'all enjoy. If I liked traveling for home matches, I'd be a Red Bull fan.

If I liked traveling 4 hours, I'd just be an ATL fan. That's a helluva lot easier and less time consuming trip than this shit show.

I'll be there. Nice weekend trip to the country Midas Mulligan Midas Mulligan.

I think frequency is a relevant parameter here.

You wouldn't travel 4 hours to see Atlanta 17 times a year. You wouldn't do similar for Red Bulls. So because of the differing frequency of travel between these two sets of scenarios, it's not a super informative comparison.

Would you see the USMNT in Hartford?

I'm going. I'm sitting at the midfield line because my regular tickets are behind the goal in 233B. I guess opposite the press box based on subsequent posts.

There is a TR tailgate. Not sure where it is yet but it shouldn't be hard to find.

Not after my prior attempt. Not a chance unless it was a massive match.

I don't want to muddy this thread any more, so I'll drop the repeated joke.

Back to the point, I don't expect us to do well in this game. They are a bad matchup for our slow midfield. We'll be ripped apart on the counter.
