My thoughts exactly. Taty, Mitri, and Isi will give them enough problems to start the game. The last thing they'll want to see at the 60 minute mark is Heber. Depending on what the score is and the flow of the game, perhaps waiting til the 70 minute mark.

I wouldn't start him based on the fact that he's not match fit. We need to be sharp and on the ball from the opening whistle. He's not match fit. That's just the way it is. We'll be a factor coming on as a super sub, but for us to come out of the gates racing, I think it's best to start match fit players.
Exactly. Starting him will require a sub for him at some point since he isn’t fit, and if another player gets injured then that’s a redundant sub/2 subs burned.

If Heber comes off the bench, depending on when an injury takes place, he can be the direct sub which conserves the 2nd.

Good point on the injury possibility. Hopefully, we do NOT have to worry about such a situation, but it just makes sense not to start Heber for this additional reason.

Never been to CitiField, please help: would you advise section 335 row 2, section 109 row 13 or section 112 row 26? Price difference not substantial, but I am concerned about netting on both 109 and 112.

Thanks!
I would go 335. It will be a bit high up, but right on top of the field, and I bet you get a great tactical view from up there.

I sat in 109 for the game in 2017 and thought the view was just okay. The stands slope back rather gently, so I was kind of far from the pitch. Plus, the seats are angled for baseball and aim more toward one end of the field than the other.

I don't know about 112.

If I recall correctly, sections 134 to 139 begin about 15 feet or so up above the ground, so they are nicely elevated from Row 1 - just something to keep in mind if anyone is thinking about sitting there.

The View From Your Seat below is very helpful and includes the netting.

Seems that laptops are allowed in Citi Field (though not at Yankee Stadium). This is a great policy and the same as MSG. It's pretty stupid that Yankee Stadium doesn't allow them as people coming from work need to leave their laptops in the office.

Tote bags, purses, diaper bags that are not backpack-style, drawstring, laptop & messenger style bags, along with small soft sided coolers, are bags that are still permitted into Citi Field as long as they are smaller than 16"x16"x8". They will be screened by security prior to entry. Laptops, tablets and other electronic devices are still permitted to be brought in with you to Citi Field.

This is from their update in May when Citi banned backpacks. Laptops are still permitted. All of us coming from work can rejoice.

I recently got a new laptop bag and I use it messenger style. But it also does have the attachment for a backpack. So in essence, my bag could either be accepted or not, just based on the way I carry it into the stadium.

Toronto FC is taking a charter to NYC after they had practice this morning. Their first time at Citi Field will be matchday.

In Crooks' preview on his twitter, they said tickets were limited to a 19,600 cause they are only opening the lower level of citi field. they also said they are expecting a sell out crowd. that kind of makes me sad cause i think we could definitely do more than 20k for a playoff game. but given that tickets are limited, you can expect the seats to be filled to the brim.

What? They're selling supporter section tickets in the 300s deck.

That's true, but the upper deck is the 400s and 500s, so there's whole levels above that they're not opening, and they're only opening a small part of the 300s out in what would be left field and right field.
