Hi, my name is Jan and i am from Germany

I have never been in the USA but i definitely want to visit New York City in the near future.
I am a huge FC Schalke 04 (Bundesliga, Germany) supporter for 16 years and a NYCFC supporter since they announced the new club.
I play soccer myself and also like American Football and the New York Giants. I wish i could be at the Yankee Stadium this season. Fortunately, there is a tv channel who shows the MLS every weekend

Thought I would join this forum and hopefully have some interesting conversations with fellow fans

This will be my first full season watching the MLS, I have watched the odd game in the past years, I was more intrigued to see the level of the football played and also to see how David Beckham was doing over their, but with Sky getting the rights to 2 games per week thought give it a try, I watched football all my life, I'm more of a fan of the sport than being a die hard fan, won't help that Newcastle United my football team has become "laughing joke" again tbh, I really dislike how the club has become and is ran tbh grrrrrrrr Mike Astley

It be nice to have a 2nd team or maybe my 1st team lol I do watch a lot of English football and Spanish Football, used to watch French, German and Italy football but dont as much these days

Ok why New York City???? My other sport is American Football and the team I root for is the Giants, again I did used to watch a lot of sports but over the years watched less and less and mostly rooted for all the NY teams apart Bball which was the Suns mostly due to Steve Nash!!!! lol Also one of my a time favourite player possibly my favourite player of all time David Villa is the face of this franchise and it be nice to support a team right from the beginning

Hello! Fan from Scotland here - been in the States for a few years and went to a couple of NJ Red Bull games, but the uninspiring team, awful commute and rubbish stadium put me off.

I was delighted when they announced an NYC team and have been even happier this season that we have picked up a few good players (POKUUUUUUUUU!!!!) and have been providing some entertaining games.

I'd never been to Yankee Stadium, so now my attendance there has 100% been for football games, which is a record i'm happy with.

Oh, also, as the avatar suggests, I'm a fan of (The World Famous) Dundee United, so i'm very at home watching frustrating and perenially disappointing teams!
