I Feel is a lot more silly here in the USA since these teams are all pretty much franchises when they were founded. It's really pathetic that people are anticipating violence at a soccer game. I'm aware it goes on elsewhere in the world, it's just weird as hell to me. Who actually feels the need to fight over sports? Would rather just hear clever chants making fun of each other. Or you know, just watch the game. I think involvement in a fight at a stadium should result in an automatic lifetime ban from all league venues.
There are idiots in every crowd though, I'm sure security will be prepped.
Unlike the majority of the rest of the world where at least in the beginning many teams were founded as amateur clubs from certain cities or regions therefore there was more of a deeper connection since man locals took part in it, and the connection that may have been passed on to other generations.
Though sometimes the frustrations of certain parts of society spills over to sports and causes fighting not because of the sport itself but maybe X team represents the "authority" or the "regime" therefore fights occur, and a million other reasons made up just to fight.
Still, like I said the only fights or scuffles I expect from this match are those influenced by alcohol
