Jason Kries to Orlando

Our roster was so shitty last year. I think there are like a dozen players that we had last year that are not even playing in the MLS anymore. Grabavoy and Jacobson are at least MLS calibur players that are making positive contributions for their new teams.

I think that Kreis can be successful somewhere else and on a team that doesn't have high profile international DPs. I think that if we continue to have DPs like Pirlo, Lampard, Villa, we need guys like Viera to manage that will instantaneously command the respect of those players. I don't if Orlando City is that team. I am pretty sure that if Kaka wanted Heath to be the manger, he would still be the manager. I think that Seattle would be a much better fit for him if he waits out Sigi to retire/get fired at the end of the season.

My kid pulled out the calendar/roster thing that they gave out at the opening game last season. We looked through the roster and more than half are gone.

Time to take the question mark off the subject line of this thread.

That match just became a bit more fun to go to. Looking forward to seeing him lean against something and scowl close-up. It will actually be fun to see the what the pregame interactions are like. I find that sort of stuff really amusing and interesting since most of the time all we really do is speculate about how different players/coaches feel about each other personally based on our perceptions of their personalities.

Now Mix has to be kept around to play in the game - he hated JK so much that LionNYC would finally see his Mix Hat Trick

I believe with Kreis in Orlando this will probably be Dax McCarty's last year with the Redbulls. I think Orlando will find a way to trade for him in the off season and JK will slot Dax in as the CDM. Dax was close to going to Orlando last year, he is from there, has family there (mom and dad) and he said he would LOVE the opportunity to play for them. I could see it happening.

That makes a lot of sense, for both Dax and the system we all know Kries will want to run. I feel like that would be a big blow to RBNJ, he's such a big part of their team. With Orlando still trying to fit everything together and integrate a new coach such a move would likely be a positive for us in the near term.

Gosh that'd be great to see happen. Dax is no Kyle Beckerman so he may not be able to pull off the single DMid role in Orlando, and RB will implode without the one player that actually has a head on his shoulders - their dumpster fire will continue and Marsch will end up looking like the mediocre coach that he is - just like when he was in Montreal.

On paper it seems like a big blow to NJ but I have sneaky suspicion with Dax throwing his whole team and coach under the bus after the Philly game, there may be some grumblings between him and Marsche and the FO at RBNJ. I think Dax has lost a step since his fantastic couple of seasons 2-3 years back. Orlando will have to give up something for sure but I think they can get it done. Should be interesting. I could certainly see it happening.

I just watched the Jason Kreis press conference and I gotta say the media in Orlando asked some very soft questions. Goodness. No questions on what Jason thought went wrong in NYCFC?
