Man City Discussion

Does anyone know if there is any way to get Man City tickets through the Club? Barring COVID complications, I'll be in the UK in late February and would love to get a pair of tickets for City/Spurs without becoming a Manchester Cityzen.

Don't think so, but if you reach out to your ticket rep they may be able to get you in contact with someone over in Manchester.

You can buy hospitality tickets for matches without being a Manchester Cityzen member. These are, obviously, higher priced.

Made to the Etihad!

Sister Club is coming for a friendly at Yankee Soccer Stadium.

Announcement from Yankees stated that Yankee Season Ticket Holders will have access to pre-sale. No such announcement yet from the Club.

Anyone going to the match today at Yankee Stadium?

Yep -- I know we're seeing a lot of backup players, but the chance to see Erling Haaland in person is worth the price of admission, even if he only plays for 30 minutes.

Stadium’s totally full. Also, the padding protecting the camera is black instead of sky blue. View attachment 13454View attachment 13455

field hasn't looked that good in forever. why can't the sod be this nice for us? at least we'll get to play on it on sunday.

i was curious if they were gonna remove the mound for this but looks like they didn't. stadium looks packed but atmosphere seems pretty eh.

where are the small field whiners? haha

will man city use our new stadium for pre season friendlies in the future or use another stadium to sell more tickets.

I’m a little worried about the field conditions for tomorrow. So many more divots during the course of the match than a normally see during an MLS game.

One oddity about this match was that the crowd was large (46,122) but also pretty much 50/50. All the goals were announced as if they were home team goals, for instance. And no dedicated supporters section the way we'd have if it was one of our matches either. Was fun, but definitely had a little bit of a spring training feel to it.

It was fun once we got in the building, but boy, getting in and getting out was a complete nightmare. I got to the exit on the highway at 5:05, wasn't parked until 5:45 and got to my seat at 6:10. Then didn't get out of the parking lot until after 9pm. Sometimes I think the people who work at Yankee Stadium want you to have a miserable experience.

Definite spring training feel, especially with almost no first-team players on either side. At least we got to see Haaland. Definitely don't think I'll go to another one of these in a Euros or World Cup year -- for the prices we paid, it's pretty bad how few players we saw. (I completely understand and respect why, but those prices were insane for seeing mostly academy players).
