It was a great letter by Mix. Very nice and respectful, but firm in his position.

I have been a big supporter of the women's team and Abby for many years but was so disappointed with that particular comment, and thought of Mix as I read it. I am glad that Mix responded, and he did so gracefully. I'm proud to have that dude on our squad.
Looks like Landon Donovan is also an asshole. Players not born in the U.S. don't care as much as domestic born players. Asshole. No wonder why he rooted against the U.S. during the 2014 World Cup.

He clarified on twitter last night he wasn't talking about all non-US born players. Interestingly, on twitter he seemed to include Jermaine Jones in the list of players who do identify as American, but I see JJ was one of the people he sort of called out in the article.
I see the argument for either side, but I like how Mix handled himself. Classy guy.
Glad he called her out her on it. Surprised her comments haven't got much traction, but it doesn't really fit the lovefest narrative right now. But genuinely impressed by how eloquently Mix responded. Glad he's our guy.
Someone has to take on the mustache mantle with Brovsky gone.

I think this guy could do a good job in the Premier League with a side like Everton, think he got good (underrated) workrate, a good basic understanding of the game and is actually a quite skillfull footballer
