Mix is very intelligent and he's going to be the last person you'll hear say the wrong thing. It's a great response.

Mix seems to be rooming with Eirik during the road trip to Columbus. And with the lack of snapchats of him beside Khiry, well there goes the reality tv show: Mix and Khiry's Excellent Adventures in New York.
I've noticed that lately. They seem to room for away games and they do hang out often. But I'm pretty sure mix and Khiry still are roommates.
Not sure for road trips but it was mentioned in a few early interviews that Mix and Khiry are not roommates in nyc this year.
Posted this in the midst of a rant last night. But if it's a not a stunning indictment of how bad a signing he is, I don't know what is. Name me one player on this list you would take Mix over. Every player on this list could fill major holes on our roster. He's not a horrible player, he can come back and play for us for $50k. But at this price it makes zero sense and is a burden on the cap. You can't make huge cap mistakes like this and remain competitive.

your argument is invalid if you include wondolowski in a list of players to have instead of mix.
Wondo screwed the pooch for the US in the WC, but he's consistently one of the top scorers in MLS, and fills a position of need on our roster, instead of being 3rd string behind Pirlo and Lampard. Being picked ahead of Donovan in 2014 was a travesty, but not his fault. That was Jurgen being petty.
I still believe Pirlo and Fat Frank have to be gone before Mix. But his contract needs to be reworked after next year.
If Mix's contract can be reworked Im fine with keeping him. As it stands now though he should be dumped.
I'd like to see an NYCFC with Mix as the first in the depth chart and Pirlo and Lampard gone. Give Mix DPs to work with, not take up his spot.
