Mix Gone?

Heard a handful of rumors recently about Mix asking girls for naked pictures on Snapchat.

Anybody else?

I wonder if this is at all related to his current situation (Chateau Bow Wow).

I see his girlfriend at every match. That being said, isn't that the point of Snapchat?

I agree.

I just tried Google Translate and it came out as "Run Yes". So I'll assume it roughly translates to "Go" or "Let's Go" or something along that vein.

What I find so odd about the Mix Salary drama is that the league is so excited by the prospect of signing Bedoya for a similar salary of $750-850k with $1m transfer (which I believe the transfer gets worked into the salary cap number unless paid for by GAM). Bedoya is a guy that won't change a game - never has and never will - he isn't a scorer, he's a ball-control/ possession midfielder. He runs all game, tracking on defense and getting into the attack, but rarely making the standout play. There's nothing truly spectacular about his game.

How long will it take for Philly fans, and the greater MLS folk to start hurling criticism at him like they've done towards Mix? He'll be making as much but likely more money, and if we apply the same standards, he should light up the box score each game with game changing moments.

And where Mix is extremely humble and reserved, Bedoya is his own cult-of-personality via a relentless, and often arrogant, Twitter stream.

Is the rest of MLS criticizing Mix, or just us? Legit asking, I feel like people are mostly just confused by it.

I guess there was the silly overrated poll, but that felt like a salary thing and not a Mix sucks thing.

Ignoring the current Mix situation if we just compare the two at the time of their signings Bedoya $750-850k seems like a reasonable deal:

Mix vs Bedoya
Age: 25 vs 29 (Advantage Mix)
USMNT apps: 35 vs. 53 (Slight advantage Bedoya, about equal relevancy when accounting for age)
Previous league: Tippeligaen vs League 1 (Considerable advantage Bedoya)
Previous year club performance app(goals): 29(4) vs. 31(5) (slight advantage Bedoya)

They seem about equal to me so the fact that the money lines up makes sense. Bedoya is coming from a better league, Mix was younger and had more upside. The criticism for Mix only came when he under performed in most peoples eyes year one, then lost his USMNT spot, and is now rotting on the bench. I don't think the bar to avoid criticism is as high as your setting it (lighting up the box score). I think if Mix was a regular starter who consistently contributed most wouldn't question him. In current NYCFC terms I'd bet if his impact was somewhere between RJ Allen, Iraola and TMac most would be happy as they will be with Bedoya if he has a similar level of impact.

Bedoya is light years ahead of Mix. Bedoya was a weekly starter for a mid level team in France and a regular Cap getter for the USMNT.

Bedoya will absolutely change games. Typical US fan view. If he's not fast or doesn't score goals, he can't contribute. Case in point - Andoni Iraola.

This. Bedoya's movement and positioning is light years ahead of Mix. Which is why he plays for Ligue 1 Nantes.

I wonder where Philly will play him and if they will change the formation at all. He's pretty versatile. Jurgen has played him as a RW in a 4-2-3-1 and as a RM in a 4-3-3. He has said he prefers to play centrally in an attacking role. I'm excited for him. Seems like a cheap deal considering what Mix costs, Bradley and Jozy transfer deals cost, etc.

Philly fans have been saying they want to slot him as an 8, which is a bit deeper than he normally plays, but he seems like a guy that has the workrate to track back on defense.
