We really need a win tonight… RBNJ are playing at home against a lackluster Montreal team. Seems like a 75% chance of a win. So to stay level we need 3 points

Players missing, road game, midweek game in the midst of a road trip. Not feeling this one.

Yeah, the injury suspension report is rough for this one:
  • Malachi Jones - OUT - Leg
  • Andres Perea - OUT - Leg
  • Kevin O'Toole - OUT - Leg
  • Tayvon Gray - OUT - Leg
  • James Sands - OUT - Suspension
The good news is that Cushing doesn't have the personnel to run his 3 defensive midfielders and Santi on the win defensive setup. The bad news is that our midfield will likely be Parks and Haak which will be a big drop-off defensively without Sands.

It's going to be a heck of a juggling act.

Guess this means Maxi should be available?

Santi - martinez - Wolf
parks - maxi - haak
mcfarlane - risa - martins - ilenic

not a terrible lineup. atlanta aren't great at the moment so if can get on the front foot and score early.. put a few in the net, they might just roll over.

Like if you think that Talles Magno still gets 0 minutes in this match despite all the absences.

sadly. if we were missing more attackers, i think nick would have no choice but to play him. but we're only missing jones

I would like to see Magno but this isn't the game to give him a shot. That turf throws us off every time. Sending Magno out on that terrible surface for his first appearance in almost a year doesn't set him up for success given his play style.

And likely an injury...

Smash and grab 3 points at Orlando and this is not a horrible road trip, especially the way it started out yakking up that game in Austin.
It reads like we're learning. I'm getting pretty stoked. This likely won't be a massive year (although in MLS, anything can happen), but it sure looks to me like we're verging on something special, and very, very soon.
