no tanas and no santi for this game.

good news is Risa is full training in the INSIDE TRAINING video, so i think we can assume he'll be ready to play.

maybe bad news - maxi wasn't in the training vid. could have been doing other stuff or not there for personal reasons though. but if we don't have santi, having maxi is more important, i think.

Everybody was popping. The squad looked good to go, mentally speaking. So, whatever juggling Nick has in mind, at least we know everyone has their head in the right space and should be ready for it.

Santi plays with intensity and a gravity that warps the offense around him. He will be missed but it's an interesting opportunity to see who steps up to fill the void and how things flow without him.

Giant question. I'm curious myself to see how daring Nick is willing to be so late in the campaign with so much on the line.

One thing is for sure: it's time to go play. Turn 'em loose to go kick some ass.

NYC cannot finish bellow Chicago. For the remaining teams below us, the Magic Numbers (points won by NYC/dropped by other) are:
3 New England
5 Atlanta, DC, Nashville, Toronto
6 Montreal
8 Philadelphia

6 teams don't make the playoffs (don't forget Chicago).

Magic Numbers to overtake the teams ahead of NYC:
13 Charlotte
15 Orlando
16 RB

NYC cannot climb over Miami or the Ohio teams.

Training fully hasn’t been the problem has it? I feel like he keeps getting hurt during warmups. Maybe needs to do yoga or learn how to stretch.

I think injured in warm-ups typically is code for an injury that's been lingering and flared back up during warm ups or they thought he could go and it turns out he can't. I don't think he actually gets hurt during the warm-up. It's been reported a few times that Risa has a leg injury. My guess is that he's trying to play through one of those injuries that won't be fully healed until he has extended time to rest it in the off-season. For now, he goes a few games then it flares back up and he's out.

Cushing also mentioned Malachi is running on grass now, so that's great news. would be great to have him as a late game sub in the playoffs for an injection of speed and directness. really wish we could have seen him develop over this season but guess we'll have to wait for next year.
