MLS - September 28 - Red Bulls (Away)

What does that mean for us new people?
I’ve only seen her ref one time, and she seemed pretty on top of the teams’ emotions. But tonight maybe a different case due to the nature of the match. She seemed to call a lot of fouls

red bulls aren't as hacky as they have been in the past... but if the ref can keep this game from turning into a choppy, hack job kind of game, i'm all for it.

Trying to figure out what formation this is.

I think it's a 3-4-3?

Maxi-Alonso-Wolf
Gray-Parks-Perea-O'Toole
Sands-Thiago-Haak

I think? Maybe? Doesn't make a ton of sense for it to be a 4-2-3-1 like we usually play. Not a huge fan; I always feel like we're never as good in a 3 ATB system.

Fotmob has it a 4-3-3 with Haak basically slotting in for Risa/Tanasijevic, Maxi on the left wing and a Perea/Sands/Parks midfield.

so was this we were that good or red bull were that bad? i think it's a combination of both.

also - saw on reddit someone said if we got the +7 GD for this game we could call it the blue divorce.

I'm still watching Apple. There's a postgame fireworks display there? Or was that pregame?

A postgame fireworks display after a 5-1 loss in the Derby is just too good to be true if that's what it is.

EDIT: It truly is too good to be true. It is a postgame fireworks show at Red Bull Arena right now. My god. I can't. I just can't.

That’s probably why there were that many RB fans still there. Lots leaving early though.
