I want to see if it's possible to arrange a carpool to and from games for us NJ guys (and possibly gals) because it'll cost me a small fortune to go each way to and from my house to Yankee stadium for each game. (probably about $40 altogether for one game)

I am sure it won't be a problem to find a couple of people to work with. I found 1 person from Western MA who I will be driving down with already an yes, it will save us a ton of money!

Are you opposed to taking a train into the city? If there's a station near Kean you can take it into New York Penn Station for $15 round trip and from there it's $5 to Yankee stadium and back on the subway

I know about the train and from my house to Yankee Stadium Bus and Train roundtrip will cost me 30 bucks. With subway each way it'll run me between 5-10 extra. Like I said up top, 40 bucks. I could save a small amount by driving to Kean, it costs me a gallon of gas between my house and Kean so thats $7 for both ways. Plus another 14 for the train, and then between 5-10 bucks for the subway. So thats not AS bad, but it could still probably be reduced further by carpooling

Central around New Brunswick. I go to Kean though so I'm in Union a lot

I live in Kenilworth and I wouldn't mind driving you. As long as you can put up with my bad driving and john Mayer pandora station then it's a done deal!

Saturday night games however I will probably look to get the train in because I fucking love a beer

Nice! That makes it much more cost effective for me, and that just means on Saturday nights I'll drive! haha

I also found 8$ parking if you don't mind walking a mile haha. And if we find one or two more people in Jersey this could be really cheap!

I know @Numz15 and Funtime will be in my car anyways so it's all good.

Opening day will probably be best to train it however as I plan on being on one from about 9 in the morning
