New Swag

I'm tempted but I have so much NYCFC gear already, my wife would kill me. May have to wait and use it as Birthday or Xmas gift request
Ha! I think my wife only tolerates the volume of NYCFC and Spurs clothing that I have because it is pretty much the only thing in the world which routinely causes me to engage in friendly conversation with complete strangers and she thinks that is emotionally healthy.

is it me or would MCFC's new third kit for 2016-2017 complement our "hypnotic" away kit?

yeah, it's orange and purple (officially "Persian Violet" by Nike), but it's "close" enough. I don't support MCFC, but if I did, I'd totally rock this to a game.

That Man City kit is horrifying. Nike is the absolute worst supplier at the moment.
They used to have half decent kits a few years back. I hated when Man City went from Umbro to Nike (although I do believe Nike had taken over Umbro and that's why Man City are now Nike). Man City's Umbro kits were absolute class, simple, and not looking like the sunset had projectile vomited across a shirt.

Agreed, so much. It's telling that right now, Nike have very few top teams on their list of customers. Aside from MCFC, for instance, Nike's biggest English customer right now is Blackburn Rovers (not including the Chelsea and Spurs deals which don't start for another couple of years or something). Their biggest German team right now is probably Wolfsburg. They've still got Barca but gone are the days when they seemed to have half of the biggest name clubs in the world. Adidas are that company now.

Don't worry about Nike. So long as they can harass and intimidate low level athletes that have to sling burgers to make ends meet, they will be okay.

Yep. I'm a Spurs fan and will be really bummed if the rumored Nike deal goes through. I think UA has done a great job. The St Pauli third that just released in incredible.

First thought: eh whatever black with a red collar, DC United-eque.
Second thought: I wish I could fill out a jersey like that
Third thought: wait a minute that's a f***ing SKULL!? THATS SO BAD ASS
Fourth thought: I should reply to this post laying out my thoughts in order

Chelsea guy here but not hating, I haven't thought much of what UA has done with Spurs to be honest, not a fan of what they've put out for you this year either. Having said that, I'm off to go put on my CFC Pajama top by Adidas...

the UA Spurs kit went to a "fitted" cut after 2013-2014's "regular" cut. And that UA "fitted" cut turned me off to UA.

"Fitted" meant very tight necklines, skin-tight body and VERY LONG shirts (even at 5'9", the size small is long enough to more than cover my butt) . . . so I'm welcoming a new kit manufacturer for 2017-2018.

Man. That's not even the worst. What is up with this nightmare of a jersey?

Yeah. Sizing is a bit weird. I was swimming in a large and the medium is pretty tight. I lost some weight, so it actually fits alright now haha. I actually prefer a longer jersey myself. And The material that UA uses is great. It is stretchy and very comfortable.
