On October 17th, we lost to Red Bull. We haven't lost since.
At that point, we have dimming playoff hopes altogether. Our Cup hopes were non-existent.
Our only hope was something remarkable. A 7-0-2 run was remarkable!

If you add up all of the MLS Cup championships held by Red Bulls, Revolution, Orlando, Philly and Montreal, you get a total of zero. We have one!

I’ve been wearing the same thing (Anton Tinnerholm t-shirt and NYCFC hoodie) since the last 3 home games. Wore it today. Magic.

apparently #MLSCUP was #1 trending on twitter for the entire game and almost 2 hours after the game ended. This was while army-navy and UFC are going on.
On that note-- popping in to say that my last post* here was the day after their loss to RedBull in mid-October, they were on a long winless streak and I couldn't take any more disappointment (I'm also a Jets and Tottenham fan, remember). They never lost another game after that. I made sure not to post, once I realized it was my doing. But I was checking in here all the time and enjoying from afar. So-- YOU'RE WELCOME. And I am now tucking in to my late dinner of sauteed CROW. Woohoo! Deila IN!

Just wanted to drop in congratulate everyone here. That first Forum get together at RD was the start of it all for me. It was bittersweet watching them lift the cup by myself (well my toddler was also there lol) all the way out here in California. But made all of the pain of the last 6-7 years completely worth it.

Hammerstein Ballroom was INCREDIBLE. So much fun there. Everyone living and dying with every moment. And when we won ... My God. Top 3 sports moment of my life. I'll remember that moment forever.
