I was confused when I logged into my account manager and saw the 2016 playoffs amount, which I thought was for a single game. But it looks like the "next payment" amount is actually the total charge if we have a knockout round match, conf semi-final, and conf final, even though they will only charge as we advance to each round ("pay as we play").
NB: you're either opting in (by default), or opting out of the playoffs altogether. They won't let you opt out of specific rounds. I guess you would have to sell tickets if you can't make it

And we get 35% off those prices?
Based on comparing what my account manager says with that chart, no. The proposed charge in my account manager matches the total on that chart for knockout + semi-final + final.
I think they either mean up to 35% off the current regular (non-founding member?) prices, or up to 35% off the prices they are going to charge people who aren't season ticket holders
Makes sense. 35% off those numbers would be less then refuser season prices. I guess we can then just reverse the math to find the true price. Looks like my $50 seats would be $77 to the avg buyer.
Maybe the listed prices are the Cityzens price (or Founding Member price) because on my bill it's $180 per seat for Legends and I'm a Founding Member for those seats, which is the price listed on the map. So it's 0% off.
I would be happy to be proven wrong but I suspect playoff games will only be marginally - if at all - better attended than regular season games. As such I'm a little disappointed in the price increases.
Or to take another angle - our games against the Red Bulls had dynamic pricing for single match buyers but STHs paid regular price. Why not approach the playoffs the same way? A playoff game against any team other than the Red Bulls will probably not equal the attendance of the derbies.

If the Knicks were playing the Washington Wizards in the playoffs, they'd be more than the regular season against the Cavaliers (on the primary market).
I presume playoff tickets can be sold on the Exchange like our regular season tickets. Or at least I hope so. The first two dates are midweek, which means it would be nearly impossible for me to go, so I'm on the fence about opting out or not.
Not a STH so I am eagerly awaiting the tickets to go on sale to the general public. I expected the tickets to be higher than regular season.
I understand they are not being uniquely mendacious, but saying "others do it too" is hardly a defense.
Really I'm just salty because I saw danger 's map and and assumed it was for single match tickets since the prices matched up perfectly and so got my hopes up.
I can't complain about the pricing - EXCEPT to the extent it reduces attendance. We need that house to be packed.

I don't think this is accurate
I believe RB includes a few rounds of tickets as part of the STH package (some tweets I saw talk about this). Can't comment on any other teams.
