NYCFC City Member Playoff Ticket Info

What if we host the MLS Cup?

MLS Cup tickets are not sold to STHs. They are owned by the league and our team would only get a partial allocation to give to its fans. One advantage we have at YS is being able to open up the whole stadium if there was excess demand by our fan base. But it would suck to be up in the 400s while some MLS suit sits in my seats yucking it up the whole time.

Not gonna go thru all the teams, but, here is a link to our biggest rival which does include them:

Also if you go thru each team most of them include US open Cup matches, CCL matches, and Friendlys
Considering the conf finals are midweek games, NYCFC should give us those for free, and the midweek one-off match if we are 3rd/4th in the standings. Attendance is always lower midweek, so if they want a good crowd, that isn't racing home to LI or Westchester, they should subsidize those matches to make it attractive to all and thereby ensuring a large crowd.

But seriously, who the Fck came up with midweek games for the conf finals?!?!? Thanks Giving may be sandwiched between the dates, but there are all kinds of sports played that weekend so they didn't have to avoid it like a leper - hell, being a holiday weekend that's the perfect time & type of event to take the family to!

Well, I'm sure discounted pricing is out the window. Darn.

Fair enough.

Though I would argue a couple of things:
1) Is the potential price of those playoff tickets built into the season ticket price?
2) Red Bulls need all the help they can get putting butts into the seats
3) Teams are able to build those in when they have their own stadium.

Fair enough.

Totally agree about the stadium

Given the prices for pitchside seats... I might venture down there for a conference final.

Well there goes that idea.

Sorry to disappoint you. If you have a Cityzen account you can probably splurge on the auction for the Pitchside Seats. Or get married like someone posted about getting confused about that individual and was gifted pitchside seats from the club.

Well, if some pitchside seaters choose not to take up tickets for a particular game, maybe there will be some available.

What happened?

What happened?

Someone on here or r/NYCFC got a call from the front office congratulating them on their wedding and was gifted Pitchside seats for the Chicago game. However, the person on the call didn't get married and just had the same name as the individual who did. So person receiving the call didn't get the tickets.

Yeah, that was me, haha.

Trust me -- they're not giving them away for free. You're just paying for them in advance as part of your full-season and you're paying even if they don't make it.
