So Enrique took the vacant Spain job. I really thought he'd go for a high-profile club gig, but there's certainly something to be said for taking basically a desk job and enjoying what's left of your Barça money.

Somehow I don’t think his dogmatic approach to player managment will work when players have more money and options like they do in Europe.
Oh yeah, it may work on the lesser guys, but the minute he tries to banish anybody with a big contract/ability, their agent will start working the phones and PV with be fighting off rumors of players asking to leave. That’s not the reputation he’s going to want as a manager in Europe.
His contract expired but Nice still has rights to him? He was negotiating with another club. He's allowed to leave on a free transfer but Nice are being bitches trying to get money from a move. If he doesn't want to stay, why should he show up. He can train on his own. They don't own the guy. Poor Mario getting beat up for not showing up to a club he doesn't have a contract with.
What’s really amusing was part of PV’s ongoing negotiations was to ensure he had players like MarioB stay. So what gives if he’s already lost them, and to be clear, I think MarioB was a horrible player to tie negotiations to, but PV didn’t want to arrive with bare cabinets..... and now......
I think Nice also uses multiple loans. They’re gonna be busy in the transfer window.
