No, but I rate this kind of pineapple more highly ."Pretty" is not found anywhere in that article. You don't see me posting Dole tweet everyday!
Playing out the back is still the ideal but. Idk about the trying to score from 30 yards out...,,

I'm reposting it here to mention that 2 days ago I wrote to the Athletic to tell them I noticed they had not run a NYCFC article in 4 weeks. Until then they had been running about 2 articles every week. I received an auto-response saying I should receive a human answer in 2-3 business days, which has not come yet. I don't think this article is a result of my email, but I'm glad they are writing again. When active, they have the best regular coverage of the team (even though Araos, whom so many hate, is the regular beat writer). But if they stop posting often and regularly, I'll drop the subscription. I don't care enough about the other sports -- or I get enough coverage elsewhere -- to pay for the Athletic if they don't have good NYCFC coverage.
I figured the same about vacation. But I wanted to let them know that the hiatus was noted, making sure they know the coverage is important to some portion of their subscriber base.I'm assuming Araos was just on vacation or something. He's the only guy that provides coverage for them, so he probably wasn't around. Plus he doesn't cover road games, of which we've played a lot lately.

Also, to clarify, there was one single article during those 4 weeks about NYCFC, but that was about the stadium issue. There were no articles about games, transfers, or training. I got it right in my email to them but forgot that detail here. I doubt anyone cares but I like to get things right.
I haven't compared MLS coverage team to team. I'm pretty certain they do not have an assigned reporter for every team, but they give reason to think that's their goal. Of course if you follow one of the teams not included yet, that's little solace. Looking at the drop down menu it looks like they cover 16 teams plus FC Cincinnati. They also have Paul Tenorio and Will Parchman doing general MLS articles. I would guess reddit is getting the atlanta stuff posted because Atlanta fans are super active everywhere.on reddit seems like its all very atlanta centric. is that the case? or is it because in reddit they just post those. I mean are they giving in depth articles about the Colorado Rapids for example?
That’s really good and fair reporting.Jonathan Lewis article from Saturday's NY Post.

Check it. You can skip to 9 min mark, or watch the whole thing but it’s kinda heavy.... for the record I’m agnostic, not here to preach but it nice story of it works

Rumor that Emirates will purchase or merge with Etihad.
I'm really curious what the NYCFC consequences are for that. If the prince no longer owns Emirates, but still owns CFG, does he keep CFG as a toy and find a new, highest paying sponsor for each team? Does he sell CFG, or all the teams separately, as it was all just a marketing ploy for his airlines? This second option excites me. I know we have unlimited resources with the prince in charge, but whomever purchased NYCFC would have to also have such resources, in the same vein as Arthur Blank. I wonder what the team (with no stadium locked up) is worth on the open market? And who would be interested? Would it be worth it for him to retain ownership till they have a stadium, then sell? If so, does he run it on the cheap till he does? Interesting times.
