This is so true. The way Dome talks in the postgame press conferences, I am going to have to up my soccer IQ to keep up.

In the Ronaldo Juventus presser he said he wanted to join a big club and not retire to Asia or Qatar. Thankfully he didn't say MLS. Either we are shaking off that stigma or we're so far off the radar to matter. Hoping it's the former.
A 21-year old Paraguayan midfielder is apparently headed to MLS for ~$1 million transfer fee: http://www.abc.com.py/deportes/futbol/junior-britez-olimpia-clausura-2018-1722414.html
Very little info out there about him, but if he's a 6/8 he would fit our desired profile, putting that Harrison allocation money into more upside.

He appears left footed and has a Tommy-esque long shot. Goooooooal!
I think he was playing RM or RW in this game based on the highlights.

And he scores with his right foot in this 2-goal game: http://www.tigosports.com.py/futbol/copa-de-primera-junior-britez-se-destaco-como-el-player-8

is it even us though? think i read some people point in houston direction, based on twitter chatter though
Seeing a name being thrown around since he's currently not under contract and wouldn't have to pay a transfer fee: Max Meyer. German who is an AM or Forward, but can play deep-lying play maker. Most recently with Schalke where he had 146 caps and 17 goals. 4 caps for Germany with 1 goal. Played on the Germany Olympic team in 2016.
He'd probably be a DP considering his wages. But he's currently 22 now and would be 23 in the 2019 season. So we may be able to structure a team that we'd pay him TAM now and then a young DP next season where his charge is only $200K.
He played at the 6 all year. Prior to that, he was more of an 8/10.Seeing a name being thrown around since he's currently not under contract and wouldn't have to pay a transfer fee: Max Meyer. Liverpool apparently passed on him. I’ve heard Arsenal mentioned.
It would be a great signing, but he’s really young to leave without giving it a go at another top league/club.
Idk, I'm just rumor-starved.
Meh, the German NT can't even get out of the group stages, why do we want any of their players?
