I was thinking more like suffering through the 1989 movie Batman, before watching the 2008 The Dark Knight. If we keep up our current form. It will be like watching Empire before Return of the Jedi.
wasnt his contract done anyway after this year? i thought the extension was just till end of 2018. It make sense that its over, but really want that title for him.
end of an era for our first player signed. dont know if people will complain if the replacement is not a known name

Michael Keaton will always be Batman to me.
If Villa is not a DP next year, I would be okay with pulling a fantastic box-to-box mid as the new DP rather than a striker.
The only person on the bench from the start would be Rob, the GK coach. If we don’t have Villa or Tummy next season, we would have no more players remaining from our original 2015 roster. Roster overhaul complete and Kreis era over.
Edit: to be fair, I was posting them as a body of work vs the other. Whether you prefer Keaton of Bale, it’s also Nicholson’s Joker versus Ledger, the art direction, cinematography, and plot/script - and the remake’s variables are light years stronger. The only even casting is Alfred, which is a total push for me, either way.
Episodes 1-3 were trash. Not a good example buddy. You have to judge them in context. Cinematographic techniques and technologies have evolved dramatically over the last 30 years. The Keaton Batman film was ahead of its time based on all the categories you used to judge them. It’s like saying the original Star Wars trilogy paled in comparison the episodes 1-3 because of the special effects/art direction. Or MLS 1.0 team to an MLS 3.0.

We need a new Midas Mulligan. We need a damn left back.
Well, mine actually helps our point total. We need a new Midas Mulligan.
Not really. They were special effects for the sake of special effects. They didn’t move the story forward at all, just gratuitous eye candy. A lot like PV’s possession for the sake of possession.Agreed. But their art direction and special effects were so much better than 4-6.
I can not see any argument that Sweat is of the quality we need to compete. He is targeted by every team. He’s just not a good player. We need a new Midas Mulligan.
Funny! Are you talking about Medina or Mata as yours?Well, mine actually helps our point total.
He is not of the quality that we all want, but for his salary he is amazing. And if he can beat out the more expensive Mata, whom the FO sunk a lot of money, then that’s not Sweat’s problem but rather an indication that Mata sucks. You have to judge based on what they’re expected to do and he is over performing.I can not see any argument that Sweat is of the quality we need to compete. He is targeted by every team. He would be fine for Colorado or San Jose. He’s not acceptable for a team with trophy aspirations.
