Penis joke?
It's not a joke when you have to live with this HEAVY burden every day.
Penis joke?
Drums have won me over.
But I hope I'm not sitting too close to them. Haha

@Christian What if the Manchester cricket team decided they were going to use the Etihad for 17 games a year and it happened to coincide almost exactly with the EPL season. Now, what if cricket lines or whatever they have we're still on the field come Saturday afternoon? Or if their batsmen tore up the turf.
Would that make you happy?
Were guests in a temporary residence. Be happy we're not playing in MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
Yankee apologist right there at it's best. We were promised a football environment by NYCFC and the Yankees pushed back. For all the people who complained about MCFC where are there voices now complaining. We were just told to shut up and sit down but it's ok that it's the Yankees. Fuck that. Every other club in MLS can rock out but we can't.
Today the part of ownership defenders will be played by Yankees fans. Rest easy MCFC fans.
All good man. I know there's a lot of Serie A supporters here as well as la Liga but not so much on the Bundesliga side.
THANK YOU... everyone is overacting and acting like the world should move out of our way. Yankees may own some of the team, but its a baseball stadium, not a soccer stadium. And if/when (please be when) we finally do get our own SSS you'll see many of these rules carry over. NYC is very strict with fire codes and security, especially regarding big venues. Sorry that the city doesn't want professional sports to look like Boca/River with mayhem everywhere. But we can be loud, we can be imposing, these rules won't break our spirit and we'll show that we don't need all that extra crap to support our club.It has nothing to do with the demographics of a soccer "crowd" or what the optimal soccer experience would and should be. It's who and what they are trying to keep out in a high risk venue in a high risk city. There was no chance YS would allow smoke, flares and poles. Trust me, I grew up playing drums and swinging flags at soccer matches, and I don't like this, but I have learned to accept it, at least temporarily, and certainly understand it. We will have to scream a little louder, sing a little better (which is hard with my voice), and be a little more creative with our in-game support. There are no better fans than those here in NYC, so I have no concerns, with or without the smoke and flags.
I've got a 12 year old, I wouldn't be comfortable with that, and Im sure I'm not the only one.No way we ever get smoke allowed at any stadium in NYC, whether we own it or not. It's just not gonna happen. Some of the other rules are excessive, but flares and smoke is not surprising in the least.
