I dont know what the person looked like who started yelling. I only know what the person who got in my face looks like. But thats not the issue. Pointing fingers will not help anything. Again, we were wrong for being in section 238 and they were wrong to try to grab me and to try to push me around. We talked about it after and told them we would stay in our section and they said that was a good idea. It seems like the other HoO members are super chill and want the same thing as everyone else, to cheer and have a good time supporting NYCFC. The incident is behind me and Im hoping nothing other than fun times are ahead.
All this drama. This ain't what I signed up for .... Oh wait. Yes it is. Muuuuuuuuhahahhahahahaahahaha.
I'm just saying some people in 238 were ruining the fun for us hoo members. How hard is it to hold up a banner for just a few minutes. Especially that one girl that decided she didn't want it in front of as she sat. Sitting in the sg section. Get the fuck outta here.

Why does MLS make a big deal about membership? Is it because they don't want the fan club numbers to appear "cooked"?
So when HoO was first formed they got shit because their membership restrictions were strict and now that they're well of the ground they're getting shit because they're not friendly enough to the people that put them on blast?
@Goodfella telling them when that all went down he'd like to get the group together for a drink and hey it happened. BBSC was cool then as well and offered support. As did other groups.
All I'm saying is if the group you're in, the group you represent shits on ME when I'm down don't expect me to shake your hand when I get back up. And I recall posts all over the supporters FB page giving this group shit when no one knew them and obviously things went down on the TR page as well regarding HoO.
And I'm not saying every group should be friendly. It's better if they are true. But if shit went down between your group and another just know if you stand in front of them you might get shit for it. And if it surprises you then you're clearly not part of that problem, apologize, walk away and go back to where you should be sitting.

That's my thoughts too. I've heard from different groups and read on forums that MLS/Clubs are asking for lists of members. They want groups to prove that they have an actual number of people before granting SG privileges. But it's probably also to market to them and maybe keep track of them in case of incidences. And various other reasons I'm sure others here can think up.
The teams and MLS actually acknowledge recognized SG's. Ensuring the SG's adhere to guidelines and are a decent size before backing them up officially is not a bad thing.
Do the SGs have to sit in sections 235-238 to be officially backed / recognized by NYCFC or can they sit anywhere in Yankee stadium?
I'm pretty certain they have to have a certain amount of tickets to be allowed to book up a section. Just like with TR having two sections. But in he middle of the season I don't think it matters.
Yes. They need to be in the supporters section.
