Things You'll Do Different Next Game

A sign of true intelligence is adaptation. What did you learn from the last game (or season) and what will you do different next time?

I thought the streamers that some folks brought looked great! My seats are in 214B and I am in an excellent spot to rain ribbons down on the south goal. Can anybody recommend a good spot to find cheap orange and sky blue streamers?

One more layer - rain coat does not make you warm - only dry and wind-free ... I was able to gnab a bunch of streamers from amazon at $.80 as an add-on item - still have a bunch. I'll bring/get more and try to spread them around.

That will kind of depend on who actually comes. If I ever catch myself at the game alone, I'll likely take off to another section for a while, if they'll let me in.

Same here. I don't think I'm going to make it to the Stadium for the SKC match, but I'm sure as hell going to be interested to hear from people who did attend how the metal detector fiasco was fixed.

Try to get there a bit earlier. I'm used to getting to YS for a baseball game 15 mins before the first pitch and making it to my seat no problem. Probably going to try to get there closer to 45 mins early this time.

Also -- don't listen to the 70th minute cutoff for beer. Was easily able to get multiple beers after the 80th minute.

Arrive early enough to drink at the bars so that I do not have to contemplate purchasing $15 Heineken tall boys.

My recommendation. Get there at 2 and just Pregamed at the bars. It was a great time drinking with Brown Bag and meeting people.
Or go to Billy's with TR or another bar with the other SG's.
It puts you right by the stadium and let's you get some reasonably priced beers in before entering.
Also, SING! Never been to a match before and only knew of chants from what I've seen on here and social media but just DO IT. Listen first if you don't know then join in. It will make the experience 100 times better if you participate instead of standing there with your phone out recording. Make yourself part of the scene.

Yeah I thought it was to do with leather or meat.

I had an issue at the game when it came to streamers, while we were distributing them security came up to us telling us we would be ejected, then we scored and streamers came out of nowhere. So I'm assuming we should be discreet with them (until we score)
