I do think it's kind of fun that Messi (and Mascherano, to a degree) will be battling with Claudio Bravo.
Argentina, there is a sizable Argentinian/ South American population in the Tri- state area, besides everyone knows Messi and Barca even if they don't follow futbol like we do. I am rooting for Arg with or without Messi

Teammate vs teammate tonight as they both captain their national team. I expect it to be just as awesome if not more so than last year's final.
I'll be heading over soon. I slightly prefer Argentina to win, but it is even enough that I expect I will end up rooting for whichever fans are more numerous nearby by getting caught up in their enthusiasm.
I've seen so many Argentina jerseys today walking around midtown east and Upper East Side. Then when I'm turing the corner home I see a guy dressed in a suit with a Copa America badge.

This ref looks to be favoring Argentina. He completely missed the stomp on Alexis that rolled into a goal kick. A second yellow when the guy just stood there and could be just a simple tackle.
I guess Argentina didn't feel comfortable enough with their roster and paid off this guy.

I'm sorry, this ref FUCKING sucks in general. I think this will be his last international match.
Makeup call probably worse than the earlier sending off but at least it will likely make for a better game.
I think there should be only one ref on the field. The assistant referees should be in a room watching the tv angles and be able to replay them in a quick fashion to get calls right.
This Brazilian ref is almost as embarrassing as Rio's hopes of adequately hosting the Olympics.

Like mentioned before, majority of people came to see Messi. There are mexican wearing argentina jerseys, i guess they wanna see Chile lose.
